🎬 River Bend Film Festival 2025 – Full Schedule

The 22nd Annual River Bend Film Festival is just around the corner, taking place August 28–30, 2025 in downtown Goshen! We’re thrilled to welcome filmmakers, students, and film lovers from across the region for three unforgettable days of movies, music, parties, and community.

Festival Highlights

📍 Opening Night – Thursday, August 28
The festival kicks off with “Goshen College & Beyond”, a showcase of student and young filmmaker work, featuring the premiere of Cora Dale – A Rediscovered Harmony. This community event is free and open to the public at the Goshen Theater.

🎉 Friday, August 29
Friday is stacked with screenings, Q&As, and celebrations. Narrative shorts blocks run throughout the day, along with a Documentary Indiana showcase highlighting Hoosier stories. That evening, enjoy the Festival Kick-Off Party & Screenwriter Awards with complimentary buffet, followed by the Red Carpet Event and the Drink and Be Merry Spotlight + Acoustic Set.
The night caps off with our special double-feature: “Strange Journey: The Story of Rocky Horror” with guest Linus O’Brien, followed by a late-night screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

☕ Saturday, August 30
Start the morning at Goshen Brewing Company with coffee and pastries at our Filmmakers Panel. Back at the Goshen Theater, the day features more short film blocks and the always-popular Film Indiana Block, with free popcorn courtesy of the Elkhart County Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Evening highlights include the premiere of Drink & Be Merry with a Q&A, the Holiday Party & Filmmaker Mixer featuring live music from Vinyl Habits, and a special test screening with Stephen Susco. The festival closes with a late-night Wrap Party at The Fold for All-Access Pass holders.

All screenings are at the Goshen Theater unless otherwise noted. Many events are free and open to the public, while others require tickets or All-Access passes.
