MAF Meetings

Starting January 2026 all MAF meetings will be held at The Annex instead of WNIT. Located at 501 Lincoln Way West, South Bend, IN 46601 next to Gene's Camera store.

First Tuesday of each month at 7:00 P.M. EST.

A MAF evening starts with a quick and efficient meeting that lasts for around half an hour, followed by a filmmaking presentation with a different topic each month. Next, everyone has time to chat and network. It’s a very informal group and there are conversations on film projects, acting, screenwriting, or even the latest favorite film release.

If you come to a third meeting, we graciously ask that you join MAF.

MAF Screenwriters Group

Second Tuesday of each month at the Acting Ensemble at 602 E Mishawaka Ave, Mishawaka at 7:00 P.M.

A fun group of screenwriters meet and critique each others’ scripts. Each writer is allowed to bring a maximum of 10 pages for review.

We also do staged readings at MAF Screenings, where one script is chosen by the audience to be made into a short film for $100 and paid for by MAF.
